Blog of the Year 2013 Award

Blog of The Year 2013 Award

I am so incredibly honored to be considered a favorite blog of the year!  I started this journey just a little over four months ago and am so glad I did!  I’ve made some great friends including Turquoise Compass who nominated me for this award.  A Heart of Adventure has allowed me to experience things and places from a different perspective and pushed me to not settle for ordinary.  It’s held me accountable to live by the belief that adventure is an attitude and every day can be full of adventure if we are willing to live boldly.

Blog of the Year 2013 Award

Rules:

1-Select the blog(s) you think deserve the Blog Of The Year 2013 Award.

2-Write a blog post and tell us about the blog(s) you have chosen – there are no minimum or maximum number of blogs required – and ‘present’ the blog(s) with their award.

3-Let the blog(s) that you have chosen know that you have given them this award and share the instructions with them – (please don’t alter the instructions or the badges!)

4-Come over and say hello to the originator of the Blog Of The Year 2013 Award.

5-You can also join the Blog Of The Year Award Facebook Page.

6-And as a winner of the award – please add a link back to the blog that presented you with this award-and then proudly display the award on your blog – and start collecting stars!

Blog of The Year 2013 Award

There are stars to collect!

Unlike other awards which you can only add to your blog once-this award is different!

When you begin you will receive the ’1 star’ award- and every time you are given the award by another blog – you can add another star!

There are a total of 6 stars to collect.

Which means that you can check out your favorite blogs – and even if they have already been given the award by someone else – you can still bestow it on them again and help them to reach the maximum of 6 stars! You can either ‘swap’ your badge for the next one each time you are given the award – or even proudly display all six badges if you are lucky enough to be presented with the award 6 times!

You can find all the badges and banners and information you need via this link: ‘Blog of The Year 2013′ Award Badges.

Congratulations to all the nominees! Enjoy your award!

Montana Dreaming

20130922-143136.jpg
So it’s been about a week and a half since I’ve returned from Montana and I just can’t get it out of my mind. Before I even left I was already planning my next trip. There’s just something so special and freeing about a place so wild an untouched. Every time I go I feel like a captive animal returned to the wild. The longer I’m there the more the social pressures and expectations just melt away and what is left is who I really am. It’s a place that forces you to see the nonsense in your life for what it is and to focus on what is truly important. No matter where I live, Montana will always be home for me. One of my new goals in life is to have a small rustic cabin outside of Glacier Park where I can just get away and enjoy God’s creation. I’m sure I will add things to the list more quickly than I will accomplish them, but I have started a Montana wish list. They are in no particular order.
