The photo I posted yesterday is one of my all time favorites (Montana Dreaming). To get this Monday morning started right I thought I’d share a few more pics from that magical moment hanging out the window of my mom’s car (I have this silly habit of taking pictures from moving vehicles). Just a bit down from the cabin were some people putting up teepees. I love how that one horse broke away from the herd and is just watching them work. Enjoy!
I think I would really like to go to Montana now!
It is absolutely my favorite place on the planet, especially Glacier National Park! No matter how many times I go, there is always something new to experience.
It looks so peaceful yet exciting at the same time.
It is! I am not a photographer by any means; it really just is that beautiful! There really is something for everyone, dinosaur fossils, Wild West ghost towns, incredible scenery, creative cuisine, and unique cultures. If you’re bored in Montana, its your own fault!
Haha! Ghost towns are pretty cool. I look forward to more posts.
There are some that are legit and completely untouched and others that cater to tourists by using actors to recreate what it would have been like to live in that time period.
I think I’d prefer the untouched ones. But it would be nice to see it in action also.
They’re all really fun! 🙂 My favorite active ones are Virginia City and Nevada City. You get to be completely immersed in the mid-1800’s gold mining culture and can take a little train ride between the two towns.
Beautiful! I’m loving this set of photos.
Thanks! They are some of my all time favorites!

Great pictures, I’d love to go into a real teepee 😉
I’ve been inside a couple, but never spent the night. That would be amazing!
